Tropical sod webworms are caterpillars that feed at night, leaving behind ragged, chewed leaf blades and small thinning patches. Activity surges late summer through fall, especially after periods of rain or high humidity.
Small moths hovering above the lawn at dusk are an early warning sign. Prompt treatment prevents widespread turf decline.
