White-footed Ant

White-footed Ant

Insect Pest · Technomyrmex difficilis

White-footed ants form massive foraging trails on the exterior of homes. They are commonly found on siding, gutters, soffits, shrubs, and window frames. Colonies contain extremely large populations, making them challenging to eliminate without a structured approach.

They do not readily share bait, so successful control focuses on environmental correction, moisture management, and targeted exterior treatments.

Quick Facts

  • ✔️ Large, persistent exterior trails
  • ✔️ Low bait-sharing behavior
  • ✔️ Often nest in trees, roofs, and landscape areas
